My stay at Auberge Internationale La Vieille Ecole was delightful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat in the former elementary school setting typical of Gaspésie. Lucie warmly welcomed us and shared local tips, enhancing our experience. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trail to a waterfall, a perfect blend of nature and relaxation.The separate bedroom with a double bed and a kitchenette/sitting area was practical and well-appointed. The prohibition of walking in with dirty shoes upheld the pristine ambiance. The view of the mountain outside our window added to the charm of our stay, making it a perfect spot for nature enthusiasts like myself.The hotel's focus on local products and onsite brewed beers reflected the Haute-Gaspé culture, allowing guests to savor the essence of the region. The atmosphere was welcoming, perfect for exchanging stories while enjoying a good meal.
